Join us Nov. 8th to 10th for the 4th Annual SBMAA Conference in Los Angeles, California!

This year’s conference will be the biggest and best yet! The weekend will begin with a darees at Masjid ul Ezzi on Friday night. The conference venue is the Warner Center Hilton hotel in Woodland Hills CA, where we will have our Plenary sessions, breakout sessions, and more on Saturday and Sunday. Attendees are invited to a dinner banquet on Saturday night and a planned beach/hike excursion on Sunday afternoon!

Dr. Zaher Sahloul

Dr. Zaher Sahloul is a committed humanitarian physician and a prominent advocate for populations and healthcare workers in disaster-impacted regions. As the co-founder and president of MedGlobal, he drives initiatives aimed at building resilience in disaster-stricken areas and low-income communities by collaborating with local partners to enhance healthcare access.

Since its establishment in 2017, MedGlobal has made a significant impact, reaching over 30 million people across 25 countries. Dr. Sahloul’s commitment to humanitarian efforts is underscored by his his leadership in numerous medical missions to regions affected by both natural and man-made disasters, including Gaza, Syria, Yemen, Ukraine, Colombia, Puerto Rico, and Bangladesh.

Traveling to Los Angeles

There are two airports, Los Angeles International (LAX) and Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) which are the two closest. Other regional airports are John Wayne Airport (SNA) in Orange County and Ontario International Airport (ONA) in San Bernardino County.

There is also a bus service from LAX to the FlyAway parking lost in the Valley, from which its easier and cheaper to Uber to the hotel – Traffic and Ground Transportation – FlyAway Bus
